Planning a magical trip to Walt Disney World® Resort? The Holiday Inn Orlando Disney Springs® Resort Area is a top choice! As IHG Platinum Elite members, we enjoyed a four-night stay with an upgraded room and used points to make it a free and luxurious experience. Read on for our detailed review to plan your perfect Disney vacation.

Prime Location and Easy Access

The Holiday Inn Orlando Disney Springs location is a major plus. It’s just a 30-minute Uber ride from MCO (Orlando International Airport), ensuring a smooth arrival. A 10-minute walk to Disney Springs® offers easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment. The free shuttle service to all four Walt Disney World® parks runs hourly. As Holiday Inn Orlando guests, reserving a spot was seamless and complimentary. We recommend the 7 a.m. shuttle for early entry perks—available to all Disney Resort Area hotels like this one, not just Disney resorts. Buses drop you near park entrances, slightly farther than Disney buses but still convenient.

Comfortable Amenities and Upgrades

The lobby welcomes you with a spacious, modern design. Our upgraded room, thanks to IHG Platinum Elite status, had an amazing view. Our balcony offered stunning views of Disney Springs® and EPCOT fireworks—we relaxed there to enjoy the Mickey-shaped bursts on our second night!. The room stayed cool all night, a relief in Florida’s heat. Plush beds, a roomy bathroom with modern fixtures, and spotless housekeeping made it perfect. The hallways boasted cute Disney murals, adding a fun touch.

Dining Experience

The on-site restaurant served decent food, though service was confusing with an unclear ordering process and a small indoor space. We ordered a burger with cheese, bacon, and fries for $22, while my mother-in-law’s $15 nachos had a creamy dressing, queso cheese, and a few toppings but a minimal amount of black beans—consider adding protein to make them more filling. Ordering poolside from the bar/restaurant was popular with other hotel guests.

Relaxing Pool Area

The pool was a family highlight. Initially cool but quickly refreshing, it featured a zero-entry design, deeper sections, and water fountains. Despite a good number of people, it remained quiet and never crowded or noisy. Outside, we found clean bathrooms, free towels, a ping pong table, and lawn games.
